SALT LAKE CITY – April 17, 2014 - Salt Lake Comic Con FanX starts April 17. Governor Gary R. Herbert joins Bryan Brandenburg and Dan Farr on stage at the press conference to declare April 17, “Salt Lake Comic Con Heroes Day. Over 100,000 people attended FanX making it the third largest Comic Con in the country and the largest Comic Con in North America per capita based on the population of Utah.

The article covers the marketing strategy that broke several records including was the largest first year Comic Con in North American history and the largest convention ever to take place in the state of Utah. It was almost three times larger than the previous largest convention in the state of Utah and it was profitable.
